These Flystuff Drosophila bottles are available in three different materials to suit your needs:
- Glass: These durable, hard-to-find Drosophila bottles are made of rugged heavy wall glass which gives the best transparency and will withstand years of everyday use. Suitable for numerous rounds of autoclaving; recommended autoclave cycles are 121°C @ 15 psi for 20 minutes.
- Polyethylene: These Drosophila bottles, precision moulded from pure virgin medical grade polyethylene, are reusable yet disposably priced. Thin walls and pliable top give good flexibility. Universal closure compatibility, the bottle openings are designed for both Flugs and paper lids. 12.5mL graduations. Non-autoclavable.
- Polypropylene: These reusable Drosophila bottles are precision moulded from pure virgin medical grade polypropylene, giving outstanding clarity and the best visibility. Thin walls give flexibility, and universal closure compatibility means bottle opening are designed to accept paper lids and Flugs. Autoclavable. The 237mL round bottom bottle has an indent on the bottom for securing food.
